Battambang City, Cambodia – 2018. Battambang City is the capital of Battambang Province and is in north eastern Cambodia. Agriculture is the primary industry in the region. It is not a major tourist destination but is worth a visit because it offers a chance to see rural Cambodia as it really is – friendly people working hard to earn a living, wet markets, a bit of history and some good restaurants.
